Mr. Grieco was elected to DHPC Technologies, Inc.’s Board of Directors in October 2009, and was named David H Pollock’s successor as Chairman of the Board in April 2012. As Chairman, Mr. Grieco provides the strategic guidance and direction for DHPC and oversees its overall governance. Mr. Grieco has over fifty years of experience in the Electronic Warfare field with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and with the U.S. Navy. He has established Electronic Warfare Policy for the Department of Defense, served as a program manager and as the technical director for numerous electronic warfare programs; as a technical advisor to the operational forces; and as a manager of engineers, mathematicians, and physicists. He has experience in the areas of deceptive countermeasures systems, communications countermeasures, automated warning receivers, surveillance/reconnaissance systems, systems analysis and operations research, software development and support, and tactical environment simulations, both laboratory and field systems. Mr. Grieco also has experience in fire control weapon systems and air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles, both RF and infrared.

During his Federal Service career, Mr. Grieco was with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and served as the Deputy Director for Electronic Warfare, where he established electronic warfare policy and provided programmatic and technical management of the Defense Department’s electronic warfare system development and acquisition programs. He actively participated in the decisions guiding the electronic warfare technology development. He is now an OSD Uncompensated Consultant.

Prior to his position with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Mr. Grieco served in the Naval Air Systems Command as the Navy’s Deputy Program Manager and Technical Director for the acquisition of tactical electronic warfare programs, reconnaissance systems, and simulation facilities. In this capacity, he has introduced numerous electronic warfare systems into the operating forces. He also served as the Electronic Warfare Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Naval Forces, Europe, where he was responsible for the Sixth Fleet’s electronic warfare combat readiness and for establishing electronic warfare and intelligence requirements, plans, and programs. He was also employed at the Navy’s Pacific Missile Test Center in Point Mugu, CA for many years, where he received the technical training, experience, and managerial maturity for his later endeavors.

Mr. Grieco holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from the University of California, as Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fresno State College. He is the President of Checkmate Strategies, a company specializing in Electronic Warfare engineering and programmatic services.
